Kayenta Contemplations

$40.00

Kayenta Contmeplations was inspired by a camping trip I took with my daughter at the Colorado Monument. The first movement, Reflection, portrays the evening of arrival, a peaceful evening by a small lake, spent catching frogs. The second movement, Obtrusion, takes place after sunset with the appearance of mosquitos and other bugs. The third movement, Repose, is the gorgeous sunrise over the lake the next morning.

This product is available exclusively as a digital download. You will be provided with a secure link to the download which must be used within 24 hours of purchase.

Premiered by Brian Krinke, Violin; Laura Sewell, Cello January 2020
