Caprice for Oboe and Piano was composed at Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2019 to perform with Dr. William Aikens at Colorado Mesa University. It was a wonderful collaboration, and I was able to interest Kathy Greenbank, longtime Principal Oboist at the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra in performing it as well. Both players do a wonderful job, and bring out different musical details in the piece.
